BBCL vision is to become the best league for playing cricket and for all its stakeholders, including the players & umpires, their families, spectators, the city/county officials, suppliers and the national organization representing USA. Clubs interested in playing in the BBCL must complete this Registration Form accurately and completely, along with player waiver forms and registration fees and submit it to Bat and Ball Indoor Sports. The Applicant Club must meet ALL requirements as set forth in the following sections. All documents required by this application must be submitted along with the completed application form. BBCL is an invitation only league and can refuse any team for any reason. The Executive Committee of BBCL will review the application and notify the Applicant Club Officers of any issues/questions.

NOTE: Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

1. All Applicant Clubs must fill and submit the Registration Form for Season Spring 2024.

2. The Registration Form must be read and signed (on the last page) by representative officers of the club.

3. The Registration Form must be filled out accurately and completely.

4. The Applicant Club must have a playing roster of at least 11 members. The Club Roster must be submitted along with the application.

5. If the Applicant Club has access to a Playing Facility, Documented evidence (Copy) of ground permit must be submitted along with the application if applicable.

6. The Applicant Club must own all cricket equipment necessary to host a match, for example matting, stumps, bails, field-markers etc.

7. The League Fees comprises of the following components.

a. League Fees: The BBCL Fees for the Season is $500 for the clubs. The League Fees must be submitted along with the application. Make the check Payable to Bat and Ball Indoor Sports.

b. Umpiring Fees: The umpiring fee for the season has been set at $40 per team per game. Team is required to pay the amount directly to the umpire before the start of the game. The umpires’ fee is higher if the game is played at a location where the umpire has to travel a long distance.

c. Permit and Matting Fees: Any team without their own home ground, will have a $575 fee.

d. Insurance: Teams are liable for providing their own insurance for any injuries. BBCL is not liable for any injuries. Please provide us with your insurance after registration.

We agree to abide and follow all the laws, rules and regulations as stated in the constitution of the Bat and Ball Cricket League. We also agree to play in the spirit that has made cricket a gentleman’s game, and agree that the officials of our club (President) will be accountable for any matter, misconduct or otherwise, on the part of our club, and will enforce any disciplinary measures instructed to the club by the Executive Committee of the Bat and Ball Cricket League. By signing, we hereby agree that our club shall not approach the ground authorities (e.g. township, county etc.) seeking permit if that ground is a BBCL or BBCL member club ground.

I, President of my club, take full responsibility for my club and all the registered players during the 2024 season. I hereby release, discharge, covenant not to sue, and agree to indemnify, save and hold harmless the Bat and Ball Cricket League/Bat and Ball Indoor Sports, its officials, Board of Directors, representatives and agents (“releasee”), from all liability, claims, demands, losses, or damages on the player’s account caused, or alleged to be caused, in whole or in part by the negligence of the releasee or otherwise, including negligent rescue operations. I further agree that if, despite this release, I, or the players, or anyone else on the player’s behalf makes a claim against the releasee, I will indemnify, save, and hold harmless each of the releasees from any litigation expenses, attorney fees, loss liability, damage, or any cost that may occur as a result of such a claim.
